Staging Ideas and “Tips – Homes and Land” volume 9 – Issue 6 refercd.

Staging Tips listed in homes and Land magazine. Also reference, HOMESandLAND.com also a reference sets up 9 Staging Tips listed as east steps to help sell a house…

1. Make repairs and get organized before marketing your home in any fashion. This particular rule should apply whether you have already moved and your house is vacant or if you are still occupying the space.

2. Liven up your house with fresh flowers and plants; however, be careful not to overwhelm the space. Safely placed candles can also add to the ambience

3.Play soft and soothing background music.

4. Bake cookies to emit the fragrances that trigger “homey” feelings, arrancge bowls of potpuourri,  install air fresheners, or burn oils that release proven natural comfort aromas like vanilla, apple or cinnamon.

5. If appropriate, in colder months have a fire in the fire place. – I’d say – Cozy…

6. Brighten up dark corners by turning lights on in every room.

7. Keep window treatments and blinds open to provide unobstructed views.

8. Leave a closet door open to make the organized and ample space obvious.

9. Put freshly folded towels in the bathrooms.

So, updates for your own enjoyment or repairs for your homesandland property for you before any selling times. The next 9 things are things I like about tips. But I take into account not just for selling a home. Some people want to stage for various reasons, people coming over, just a new look, for theirself, and so on.

I specifically seeked to address non-sellers with the same tips and what I like about the potential of the various reasons they seek and/or actions taken to re-up stage the staging concepts within homes and land.

Tip 1, part of the tip I like is the idea of updating instead of repairs. I bring up updates looking past “repairs” which hopefully as time has gone on, little repairs have been required since the purchase of the home. (prior to what staging is currently typically used as in the context and what it has been for in this 2012)

Tip 2, part of the tip, I like, was, “be careful not to overwhelm.” The thing I like about this part of Staging tip #2 was, the idea of not over – decorating at a potential result of clutter.

Tip 3, part of like, wasn’t the specific tip, but the idea of the tip. Like an earlier posting today about a bakery on fire. The aromas  set a tone, an atmospheric feel. So, the tip says to “play…background music.”

Tip 4, part of my liking the just extras one could purchase here and there. It is neat to have available

Tip 5, part I like is the scenic atmospherics of the fire lit in an available fire place or other features like a luxurious spa or serene-like appearing pond.

Tip 6, part of what I like, isn’t about the brightening up dark corners, but lamps in them when bringing up lighting. The shade of the lamp and how and what light it will emit at what angles available is something to take note of. I like lava lamps and a seldom rare like shaped pieces of the lava lamp, which are lit and possibly angled. I purchased a glitter lamp once. Although at the time, I had a lava lamp preference, the glitter lamp turned out to be a better choice as far as the enjoyable atmospheric look.

Tip 7, part of what I like, is the mentioning of windows. In the issue of the magazine, the display of windows and an emerge of some advertised design styles display the concrete at the bottom, full window walling and a steel/wooden/roof, etc. – Although it isn’t personally something I’d want as a primary as in sole residency look since it full walls many of its windows, the exteriors look spectacular.

This picture isn’t in HomesANDLand.com or the magazine issue, but the picture example on the staging tip page brings up my exaggeration of what they showed. It is inspirational. In the magazine it is just normal window-ing. But this is what I like about the tip. (The part – being that tip number 7 brought upwindows.)

8, part of what I like is make ample space obvious. While, I don’t prefer obvious always necessarily, I would prefer once made, available and the spacing available as part of an enhancement to the look.

Tip 9, part of what I like isn’t about the fresh towels in the restrooms.. But fresh, clean, who look at the new restroom gadget, which is just up and about and not part of necessity as restroom design currently allots.
