New York Times Reported: – convention event issues….

Response blog to NY Times report…Hurricane could be coming in…and the event is still planned in Florida!

Umbrella Goody bags are a cute idea for a political convention…Sounds not like the typical or most likely would have been the Plan A of compliments at the reception. With the typical assigned seatings – no placecards are available since with hurricanes comes the winds and the rains and the beauty of  the potential disaster which ruins a perfectly planned event on the during the warning/watch disaster date which says could be coming….

Clever, Florida?!?! Andrew, hurricane – about 20 years ago or so…and so you’ve got this controversial state from the 2000 election year with hurricane season and a political invitation fund raising event – ““It’s not a political event,” he said, “it’s an economic opportunity” – Mayor, Buckhorn

50,000 people scheduled to arrive and 300 lottery goody bags….too bad if you are one the other 49,700 invited to watch and wait… (some are press credential-ed)

In the meantime, the opportunity for the political candidates to suceed in their prospecting goals could be something to comment on or (that thing about politics)
